喜作園が独自の技術開発した緑茶Pekoeは、他の緑茶に比べてEGCG含有量が非常に多く、清涼感のある味と香りが特徴です。低カフェインである為、誰でも安心して飲むことができます。また、クロロフィルを多量に含む為、その水色は鮮やかな緑色です。南アフリカで生産されたこの緑茶を“南十字星”と名付けました。
日本の技術を現地に持ち込み、非常に栄養価の高い緑茶ができあがりました。

Kisaku-En's Pioneerinmg spirit serves to delight consumers with unique products.As our logo indicates we have traveled to distant mountains in search of finest tea leaves.
In the year 2005,Dr. Zweli Mkhize ,the minister of finance and economic development ,Kwazulu-Natal visited Kisaku-En with a request for co operartion in reviving the local tea industry.
Later in 2006,Isaku Watanabe ,the President of Kisaku-En,recieved an invitation from Dr Zweli Mkhize ,where he found unlimited potentials of developing green tea in the province.Henceforth the green tea project was undertaken.
The birth of The Southern Cross brand is also due to our effort to bring to the end customers an "Inimitable Product " which the world has never experienced before.
Our extensive research has finally paid off and we are proud to launch a green tea with a difference.
